Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences “International Encounters – Social Justice” Workshop II - Kelkheim, Germany

In 2014 for the second time TOOLS FOR LIFE will commit to the University of Applied Science (FH) summer school in Frankfurt. The summer programs concept is simple: Students of the University of Applied Science in Frankfurt am Main meet with students and teachers from partner schools and work and celebrate together. In conjunction with DAAD, TOOLS FOR LIFE will finance a workshop regarding “Water and Social Justice” from July 21st until August 1st 2014 as part of the program “International Encounters – Social Justice”. The workshop will be led by Dr. Kwabena Nyarko (Kwame Nkrumah University, Kumasi Ghana) and will deal with the question of how to provide almost 800 million people world-wide access to clean drinking water and ensure 2.5 billion people access to acceptable sanitary facilities. Also addressed will be the lack of these resources and the question if they are the cause of lower life expectancy, serious illnesses which at times results in death, as well as the loss of manpower and working time. Further information can be found in our project description Summer School 2013 and on the info flyer available to download.

Your commitment - Uganda 2017

The project work with TOOLS FOR LIFE has given me the opportunity to help others to help themselves and to noticeably improve their quality of life. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Your commitment - Senegal 2012

My TOOLS FOR LIFE staff trip to Senegal in 2012 was a unique experience. And the fact that I was standing on a meadow where today, after only two years, there is a school for several hundred pupils, which the Foundation helped to finance, is almost unbelievable. Great cause and great projects that make a little bit of a difference in the world.

Your commitment - Uganda 2015

It is inspiring with how much commitment and passion the foundation devotes to its projects.
