HERO 2019: Miteinander leben in Kelkheim e.V.

Miteinander leben in Kelkheim e.V. (Living together in Kelkheim) is our HERO 2019. The organization is committed to an integrative and diverse society in Kelkheim. Miteinander leben in Kelkheim was founded in 2017 to bundle the voluntary commitment that was widely visible as a reaction to the many refugees in 2015. The aim of the organization is to shape the cooperation in Kelkheim in a diverse, open and tolerant way.

With the HERO Award, the TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation annually honors organizations and individuals who stand up for people and against injustice in everyday life. The prize money is collected through the "Donations instead of Gifts" campaign, which is among others supported by companies and employees of the ROTHENBERGER group of companies.

34 members of Miteinander leben in Kelkheim and former fugitives came to the TEC Center in Kelkheim, the seat of the foundation, for the HERO Day on June 25, 2020. .
