HERO Award 2024: Guardian Public School in Pakistan

On June 17, 2025, we selected our HERO 2024 at a festive event.

The 1st place of the HERO Award of the TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation went to the Guardian Public School in Parachinar, Pakistan. The school was founded in 2021 by Irshad Hussain, a dedicated ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge GmbH employee, and his family and has been supported with great passion ever since.

The Guardian Public School gives children - especially girls - access to education and opens up new perspectives. English as the language of instruction prepares them for an international future. Thanks to the award, many projects have already been implemented: a PV system, fans, an ice chest, toilets, a projector and soon an IT room and a water tank.

Since 2014, the TOOLS FOR LIFE Foundation has presented the HERO Award to people and organizations that are committed to helping others. The donations from our “Donations instead of gifts” campaign go entirely to the award winner.

The evening was hosted by Sandra Rothenberger. In addition to the Managing Directors Otto Tomaschek, Christian Heine and Thomas Bamberger, numerous guests and committed employees were present and made the evening something special.
