Help that really works!

Women have a difficult position in India. Even though legislation supports the equality of men and women now, the poor status of women and the consequent discrimination are still deeply anchored in society. Abha Bhaiya has been fighting for more than 30 years that this will change. She is one of the founders of Jagori, a women’s movement that actively works to improve the status of women and that launched different initiatives to educate, train and boost women. Abha Bhaiya visited the ROTHENBERGER TEC-Center on July 7, 2015 during her time as a guest lecturer at the Summer School of the FH Frankfurt and granted around 50 interested employees and international students an insight into her work.
