On January 23, 2014, a new TOOLS FOR LIFE school was opened in Gouye-Ndigou. TOOLS FOR LIFE has now built and opened a total of five schools in Africa. After only 6 months of construction, the buildings in Gouye-Ndigou with 10 classrooms and 3 teacher flats were completed. In addition to the school building, a new deep well was constructed on-site, which will provide the over 800 students with clean drinking water. Additionally, the well will deliver water for the 27 surrounding villages. The budget was 16,000 EUR which was covered by TOOLS FOR LIFE. The official opening celebration is documented in many colourful pictures.
