We received good news from Mongolia – in 2016 we had collected funds to support the Mongolian organization Lotus which has taken care of abandoned and vulnerable children in Mongolia since 1995. TOOLS FOR LIFE initiated a Facebook campaign for the benefit of Lotus. When the ROTHENBERGER “Green Eagle” team started on the Peking to Paris Rallye, TOOLS FOR LIFE donated five Euro per like from start to finish of the Rallye.
The money went towards vocational training of children which was just being launched at that time. The project has now been realized: The Lotus children receive regular training by teachers who come in on the weekends. They run workshops in carpentry, bakery, sewing, mechanics and hair and beauty – so that there is something that will be of interest to each of the children. Congratulations to Lotus for getting this important part in the children’s lives up and running!
