Little Sun - Kelkheim, Germany

TOOLS FOR LIFE supports the worldwide project “Little Sun” from the initiators Olafur Eilasson (artist) and Frederik Ottesen (engineer). With the development of a small, portable, and powerful solar-powered lamp design, the inventors started a global initiative. The goal: To provide the 1.1 billion people in the world who live without electricity with affordable, renewable, portable light.

Our foundation is joining in: We are actively involved in the distribution of the Little Sun with our “Donate Light” campaign. For every Little Sun that is sold by TOOLS FOR LIFE, we will donate a Little Sun to Arica through our project organisation, for example to Senegal. We are distributing the lamps through our own communications channels, as well as with ROTHENBERGER Werkzeuge GmbH advertising materials. The start of the campaign is the ROTHENBERGER International Meeting 2016, from June 2-4, 2016.

** Get involved and donate more light! ** For every Little Sun that you purchase we will donate one to Africa for a child that has to live without electricity. Order now at info@toolsforlife-foundation.com

Your commitment - Uganda 2017

The project work with TOOLS FOR LIFE has given me the opportunity to help others to help themselves and to noticeably improve their quality of life. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

Your commitment - Senegal 2012

My TOOLS FOR LIFE staff trip to Senegal in 2012 was a unique experience. And the fact that I was standing on a meadow where today, after only two years, there is a school for several hundred pupils, which the Foundation helped to finance, is almost unbelievable. Great cause and great projects that make a little bit of a difference in the world.

Your commitment - Uganda 2015

It is inspiring with how much commitment and passion the foundation devotes to its projects.
